Over Bath Shower Grout Transformation

This goal of this project was to remove all the mould that had grown on the grout and the surrounding over bath area, then to re-colour the grout, and finally to re-silicone around the top of the bath, getting rid of any mouldy sealant.

We also added a couple of lines of silicone in the two far corners of the bath area to smarten it up as the grout in these corners was cracked and missing. Putting silicone in the corners makes it watertight and low maintenance.

The original grout colour was a creamy colour so we opted to re-colour the grout with our off-white Grout Gleam compound. We didn't need to remove any existing grout, we simply had to clean and scrape back where needed. The specialist compound is hydrophobic and binds with the existing grout. We also deep-cleaned the whole area. We find this is a huge help to our customers, especially where they have mobility issues and getting down low or up high is not an easy task. We are very conscious of the needs of our customers.

The results were once again amazing and our customer was very happy.
