We schedule our quotes to offer a free estimate at a convenient time that works for you. We are happy to visit on an evening or weekend.
We don't ask for deposits and payment is only required after a job is completed.
It depends on the amount of work involved but most jobs are completed within one day. There may be one or two people working on your job, depending on the amount of work there is.
For a bath or shower transformation, we advise to not use until to following morning. If the compound was applied to a floor area, without any silicone, then this can be used again as normal within approximately 3 hours.
Most of our jobs are completed within three weeks of a customer agreeing to go ahead. However, if your work is urgent we will always do our best to accommodate you sooner.
Payment can be made on the day the work is completed and you are satisfied by cash or cheque. Or, payment can be made on invoice via bank transfer. We requested that the BACS payment is processed within 2 days of the invoice being received.
Our special compound, unique to Grout Gleam, chemically binds to your existing grout and creates a hydrophobic and oleophobic barrier. This means that once the compound is applied your grout will be fully sealed meaning that it will be moisture and stain resistant and can be kept clean with a simple wipe of a clean cloth.
Absolutely, we can help. We thrive on transforming tired, stained and mouldy grout lines back to their former glory. We will clean the grout lines first, to remove the mould and then we apply the Grout Gleam compound to the colour of your choice.
Yes, once your tiled floor grout lines are covered with our compound they will be able to be mopped clean the same as a tile, without the grout lines soaking in the mop water and staining.
Our specially trained staff firstly clean the tiles and grout removing any dirt or mould. We then may need to scrape the surface of the grout very slightly. Once the grout is prepped, we will then apply then apply the compound to the grout lines. We will apply two coats of the compound to ensure coverage is efficient and even. Once the compound has dried we then clean the tiles removing any excess compound from the tiles, leaving a hygienic and enhanced finish to your tiled surface.
The most popular grout colour is white, but just in case we do have another 6 colours available that should match with your existing grout colour. If you are unsure a test can always be done either at the quote stage or before we start on the day.
Yes, we change the grout colour all the time. We have 7 great options including black, graphite, silver, various beige options, off white and of course, white.
Yes, we always closely inspect your grout lines while doing a quote and we point out any grout that needs refilling and this will be done as part of the service on the day.
Yes, all the time. If we are covering your grout we normally remove and replace the silicone at the same time as part of the service. However, we do also provide a stand alone silicone service for showers, baths, sinks, kitchen worktops, windows and floors.
Yes, of course. We use a quality high-quality silicone which is fungus, mildew resistant and bacteriostatic. This is available in 5 colours, so we normally we have a colour to match. However, if your colour is not available in this brand of silicone then we will find a match for you.
Yes, always. To ensure your silicone stays clean and fresh for years to come we always remove the old silicone first and make sure that the surface that it is removed from is thoroughly cleaned and dried before reapplying the new silicone.
